DESERTMED is an ongoing interdisciplinary research project. A group of artists, architects and writers travelled to seventy uninhabited islands of the Mediterranean, impartially cataloguing information that can be interpreted in multiple ways. The Desertmed website showcases this temporary archive.
On the occasion of the DESERTMED show in NBGK, and drawing from the exhibition setting, the website serves as a browser for the photographic archive.

Last day discussions of The Watched Field in Chania, August 2012. Autonomous Cells was the prison part of the workshops emphasizing on a real design of an autonomous room or a cell, created in order to host an inhabitant for undetermined time with no real possibility of exit.
