INSTEAD portraits by Danny Stilidis. The 2013-2014 postgraduate curriculum comprises talks, design workshops and theory seminars, intending to integrate all individual research and design production into a “Manual for Deserted City Centres”.
Tumblr design & editing for INSTEAD, a one-year postgraduate program in DArch, University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece. The program will focus on architectural design strategies that concern abandoned areas of city centers. Thessaloniki western downtown is set as “an example to be designed”.
DESERTMED is an ongoing interdisciplinary research project. A group of artists, architects and writers travelled to seventy uninhabited islands of the Mediterranean, impartially cataloguing information that can be interpreted in multiple ways. The Desertmed website showcases this temporary archive.

Last day discussions of The Watched Field in Chania, August 2012. Autonomous Cells was the prison part of the workshops emphasizing on a real design of an autonomous room or a cell, created in order to host an inhabitant for undetermined time with no real possibility of exit.
Schrebergarten, Berlin, KAM wokshops 2012. The participants were asked to design or describe with technical accuracy a system of auto surveillance through a series of drawings that will form the task of this first narrative workshop (The Watched Field / Controlled Area).
